Welcome
The Old Mill Farm is located along the Yadkin River in Davidson County,
North Carolina. Nestled along the Yadkin River, The Old Mill Farm
provides the comforts and privacy of country life within its 100 acres. We
provide a quiet atmosphere for horses and riders of all ages. You'll find our
facility a comfortable place for you and your horses to board, ride, train
and show.
Located in Lexington, North Carolina, just a half hour's drive from
Winston-Salem, the farm was named and known for The Eureka Mill, founded in 1838.
The mill stood on the farm until March
12, 2003 when it succumbed to age and weather. It was, in its day, the
center of activity for many in the Davidson County and surrounding areas and
remains on the tourism map for the county, and on the
National Register of Historic Places.
We offer horse trials and cross-country schooling days, lessons,
boarding, and trail riding, and we have cottages for rent on the property so
you can live near your horse!
